Willwood Beagles was formed in 1989 by Allen Williams & Jim Wood. The name Willwood came from the last names of both men and is used as the the Kennel Name for the beagles they breed and show.

It has been our pleasure to own, breed, and show some of the nicest beagles in the country. We have worked very hard to improve the breed and to place them in homes where they are loved as a part of the family. We raise beagles primarily to be shown and occasionally have puppies or retired adults to place in the right pet homes.

We are honored to have achieved the following awards from the National Beagle Club of America:

Best of Variety 15" 2004 - Ch. Copper Rose In A Heartbeat

Dam of the Year for 2003 - Ch. Copper Rose Heaven Can Wait

Best Opposite Sex 2003 - Ch. Willwood's Heaven Sent

Beagle of the Year & 13" Beagle of the Year with Ch. Kahootz Chase Manhattan 1999

Dam of the Year was Ch. Willwood’s Okie Dokie. Okie had a litter in January of 1998 and four of the five puppies achieved their championships in 1999.

Sire of the Year was Okie’s father, Ch Kahootz Chase Manhattan with 15 Champions.

Runner Up for Sire of the Year was Ch Willwood’s Call Me Joey with 9 Champions. He was the Sire of the Okie Dokie litter, which made her dam of the Year.

Willwood’s Jack O’Diamonds, T.D., earned his first tracking degree this at Six months and 21 days of age. Jack is owned by Mary Bender of Fort Worth, Texas.
